Nebbiolo is a grape full of contradictions: big and brooding, with healthy doses of tannin and an earthy undercurrent, yet as pale as a Pinot.
It is grown only in small quantities in WA and is difficult to get hold of. This release comes from Mark Jolliffe’s vineyard in Wilyabrup.
Think cherries, Campari, herbs and spice, with a chalky structure that craves a place at the dinner table. Decant it, gather your finest Italian feast and settle in.
