Si Vintners
From vine to bottle, a true taste of place.
Si Vintners is a small, family‑owned winery in Margaret River, founded by Sarah Morris and Iwo Jakimowicz – hence the “Si”.
A vineyard in balance, from soil to cellar.
Their vineyard lies in the cooler southern part of Margaret River, where higher rainfall, ancient soils and the strong influence of the Southern Ocean create a distinct microclimate that brings bright acidity, fine structure and aromatic complexity to their wines.
Around seven hectares are planted to vine, and the estate is certified biodynamic by DEMETER. They farm according to biodynamic principles, a regenerative approach that treats the vineyard as a self‑sustaining ecosystem. Guided by lunar and planetary rhythms, they use natural preparations made from herbs, minerals and compost to enrich soil life, support vine health and foster biodiversity.
This produces resilient vines, fruit with energy, balance and a strong sense of place. Capturing the unique history and character of this special site in every bottle.
In the winery, they take a minimal‑intervention approach, letting the fruit and the land speak. They use wild fermentation, relying solely on native yeasts present on the grape skins and in the winery environment. These native yeasts are unique to their vineyard, bringing complexity and individuality to their wines.
