Felix Caspar Wines
Two brothers. Handmade wines.
Felix Caspar is a small, brother-run producer in Margaret River, founded by Ruben Felix and Phillip Caspar in 2017. Their first wine together was a couple of barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon named “Murray”, after their father.
They farm a dry-grown vineyard in Wilyabrup and are bringing new life to an older site in Forest Grove, with a clear focus on organic practices and the long-term health of the land. Fruit is hand-picked and the winery approach is deliberately simple and traditional: wild fermentation, basket pressing, no fining, no filtration and only minimal sulphur.
Small-batch wines, full of character.
The result is a range of thoughtful, modern Margaret River wines that prioritizes drinkability and a clear sense of place over heavy-handed intervention. Bordeaux varieties sit at the core, joined by Chenin Blanc, Nebbiolo and others, all made with the same philosophy.
Philosophy: Make honest, energetic wines that are a pleasure to drink
Character: Precise, energetic, full of personality
Vibe: Vibrant, down-to-earth, quietly confident
Style: Traditional methods, modern expression
