A bold and distinctive expression from Felix Caspar, standing apart from more traditional Margaret River styles. Thick-set yet juicy and soft, it delivers dense dark plum and black fruit with notes of black olive, dill, bay leaf, smoked paprika, woody clove and a subtle earthy, gamey edge. A faint balsamic lift keeps it fresh and balanced. Fine, silky tannins provide structure without hardness. Rich, characterful and highly enjoyable.
Hand-picked and wild fermented in open fermentation tanks. Basket pressed and aged on oak for 12 months prior to bottling unfiltered and unfined, with minimal sulphur.
