LS Merchants 2023 Great Southern Land (Shiraz)

A blend of Waldron and 470 Shiraz clones, bringing a range of flavours you might not expect from an Aussie Shiraz. Fruit-driven, fresh, crunchy acidity and plush tannins. Made for easy drinking.

Harvested in the early morning, the fruit was transferred to open fermenters, gently hand-plunged for three days, then put through a series of rack-and-returns to build structure and palate weight. Extended post-ferment maceration lengthened the tannins, before 12 months in barrels.

有別於一般澳洲 Shiraz 的多層次風味。以果香為主導，口感清新，帶有明快爽脆的酸度與柔滑飽滿的單寧；沒有厚重的黑胡椒辛香，也沒有高單寧所帶來的沉重感。輕鬆易飲，適合日常享用。

適合配搭烤豬肉或烤鴨，明亮的果味與清新酸度能平衡豬肉與烤鴨的油脂及豐潤口感。配搭冷肉拼盤與醃製肉類，能襯托較清爽的鹽漬肉類風味，而不會掩蓋味蕾。亦適合配搭蘑菇與扁豆等的濃郁素菜，與清新 Shiraz 的鮮美感及果香特質相得益彰。
